Variety update: cucumbers are disappointing (I will likely replant some Diva on Monday - and Poona Keera didn't germinate at all - so Diva will be the only cuke offered). Basils are coming along but would like some warm, dry days. As for peppers - many of the hots are in very short supply (such as Ghost, Serrano, Jamaican Hot Chocolate and Jalapeno) - due to poor germination. Sweet Peppers are coming along, and eggplant and tomatillos are looking good.
But it is a tomato year, and we've got good quantities of most of the varieties. So it is time for me to start thinking about my own garden in parallel...and I hope to get digging and planting starting Monday (in between the transplanting!).
Oh yes - those who would like to grow Dwarf varieties as part of our project - I will create a list of options for you to choose from early next week - the plants are still a bit small to leave home, but will be large enough by next weekend.
Happy Easter, everyone!
