The transition to selling seedlings to planting my own garden (and reclaiming the driveway) is nearly complete. We still have some great plants for anyone interested in paying us a visit, but only for a week or so more. Amazingly, we have perfect Cherokee Purple, Cherokee Chocolate, Sungold and Red Brandywine plants....I wish they looked like this in early April!
Otherwise, the garden is looking superb - the beans and potatoes are up and growing, there are small squash forming, and we are harvesting baby beets and radishes, along with a plethora of lettuces and greens. The garlic is finally starting to send up its scapes, and Sue ate the very first ripe blueberry today. Finally, we got some much needed rain (accompanied by some loud thunder that Buddy didn't approve of!).
As promised, a few of my favorite pics from our visit to Daniel Stowe garden on Saturday.
